For those of you wearing your hats today please remember to give your loonie to your teacher to help purchase flowers for outside the school! Mrs Hayden’s homeroom thanks you for the support and so do the bubble bees. 😊

Reminder that 7 Hayden is going to be coming around to collect loonies and pop can tabs today. 😊

There are still a number of clothing items outside of the office. Please be sure to take a look and grab what’s yours.

Disability Awareness Week and National Accessibility Week begins this Sunday on May 30th until June 5th. The theme this year is “Let’s Talk Ability!” Take the time to check out the bulletin board prepared by Students in Mr. Melanson’s grade 8 class. The bulletin board looks great. Next week, each class will have the opportunity to hear guest speaker Robert Hanson tell his story of how he has adapted to a world without sight. Each class will also take part in a Walk and Roll event. Wednesday is Red Shirt Day. Wear a red shirt to show your support for people living with disability. Stay tuned for more information next week.

Just another reminder that the grade 6’s are writing their assessments period 2 & 3. Teachers, assessments can be picked up at break in the conference room.
